Rick Turner, Senior Pastor

Rick began serving the Lord in ministry at the age of 18 as a youth pastor.  In 1979, he received a B.A. from Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas, and in 1982, an MDiv from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.

While in college, he was a Music major until the Lord made it clear that the call he had received was to be a preacher.  He then changed his major to Practical Theology.

He moved to San Antonio in 1982 to become a pastor of a Baptist church where he served for seven years.  Then he left the Baptist church after being baptized by the Holy Spirit in 1989.  He’s served as youth pastor, associate pastor, and head pastor in various churches in Texas.  Rick’s spiritual gifts include prophecy, leadership, healing, and teaching.  His passion is to preach the Word of God and to help others discover and fulfill their purpose in God.

Maritza “Mari” Turner, Secretary

Maritza is Pastor Rick Turner’s wife.  She is a graduate of New York Technical College in Brooklyn, New York, and attended medical related courses at Long Island University, New York.  After obtaining her degree, she gained 32 years of experience as a medical assistant and secretary in various hospitals and medical facilities.

In 1984, she accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, and in 1985, was led by the Lord to move to San Antonio, Texas.  Areas of ministry participation include ushering, teaching, prayer counseling, freedom ministry, music ministry, as well as serving as a deacon.  Mari currently is on the Board of Directors of Prayer Mount Fellowship.
