Alpha Course:

Our desire is that everyone at Prayer Mount Fellowship have the same foundation so we can all work in unity to accomplish God’s purposes for His glorious Kingdom!  Because of this, the “Alpha Course” is a requirement for those currently serving or desiring to serve in the future in any area of ministry at Prayer Mount Fellowship.

“Porter” (Gatekeeper) Ministry Training:

This course teaches spiritual insights centered around the Old Testament Tabernacle/Temple and its servants (Levites), with application to today’s church.  

The word “porter” (KJV) means doorkeeper/gatekeeper.  Symbolically, the Holy Spirit is the divine Porter who opens gospel doors for Christ.  As those who watch constantly for opportunities of witnessing of Jesus and who guard the Shepherd’s interests until His return again, every believer is also considered a “porter”. 

Though all believers are “porters” or “gatekeepers and the majority of the course is geared towards all Christ followers, part of the course is specifically geared towards greeters, ushers, communion preparers, catchers, music ministry, set-up & break-up volunteers, parking lot attendants, and cleaners. (1 Chronicles 9)

All those at Prayer Mount Fellowship who have served, are serving, or have a desire to serve in any area of ministry, are asked to make every effort to attend this training.
