The Lord has made it very clear to us that Prayer Mount Fellowship is not to be like any other church.  We are to be different, and in many ways, unique.  The full understanding of that uniqueness is still developing and will come over time.  We will follow the lead of the Holy Spirit and He will lead us into the specifics of that uniqueness.  It will all become clear as we live in and proclaim the Kingdom of God.

 

One thing we do understand is that there are already many churches, so the Lord wants us to build a “community.”  We are to be a community of believers; a family that gathers together to worship the Lord, to study His word, to pray and to fellowship.  We are to make disciples of children, young people and adults who will develop into all that the Lord has destined them to become.  Every person has a purpose and we are to help them discover it and live it out.

 

We see a community that will send disciples out as missionaries around our city, state, nation and world.  We see disciples going out to start other communities, other ministries, businesses, schools, etc., that will glorify God and proclaim the Kingdom of God.

 

We see a community that will have a significant affect on San Antonio.  We are humbled to know that the Lord has plans for us that go beyond what many have experienced up til now, but He has purposed for His glory!  As we follow the leadership of the Holy Spirit, the Lord will build His church and His Kingdom will be manifested among us!

 

We commit ourselves to His purposes!
