This ministry focuses on dealing with spiritual conflicts/strongholds in individual lives.  The process that serves as the basis for the approach, understands that Christ is the ultimate, wonderful Counselor and only He can grant repentance leading to a knowledge of the truth which sets captives free (2 Timothy 2:24-26; John 8:31-32).  John 8:36 says “Therefore if the Son (Jesus) shall make you free, you shall be free indeed.”

Many people are afflicted during their lifetime with issues such as chronic depression, eating disorders, sexual addictions, bitterness, anger, pride and many other serious problems.  Our volunteers are trained to minister to others and are sensitive and submitted to the leading of the Holy Spirit.  For each person requesting ministry, there are two or more trained volunteers to take the person through the steps.  Everyone present in a session is bound to confidentiality requirements.

Freedom Ministry is set up with the aid of understanding obtained through the Word of God and other reliable sources, like the books “Ministering the Steps to Freedom in Christ”, “Victory over the Darkness”, and “The Bondage Breaker” by Neil T. Anderson, “Biblical Foundations of Freedom–Destroying Satan’s Lies with God’s Truth and “In His Own Image–We are Wonderfully Made” by Art Mathias.

The Process:

The procedure involves the completion and submission of the requestor’s application (questionnaire).  The requestor must sign a “Liability Release” to be submitted with their application.  Other pertinent requirements are outlined in the questionnaire packet.  Once the application is received by Prayer Mount Fellowship, prayer and review of the application is made and assigned to designated trained volunteers.  The requestor is then contacted to schedule the freedom session(s).  PLEASE NOTE:  Currently, there is a long waiting list.  While you are waiting, we recommend reading “The Bondage Breaker” as a means to prepare the requestor for ministry.
